Rangers Get the Job Done Without Gaborik

No folks, New York Rangers’ forward Marian Gaborik was not injured last night. It surely looked that way though as three other Rangers decided to score goals to give the team a much needed 3-2 home victory over the Boston Bruins.
The team got goals from Ales Kotalik (finally!), Erik Christensen and Christopher Higgins, who scored the GWG with less than two minutes to go in the hockey game. This was a long time coming as the Blueshirts had to find other guys to put the puck in the net besides Gabby.
The Blueshirts also got another solid effort from Henrik Lundqvist, who continues to look like the Henrik of old and is making timely saves and not allowing any softies to take his team out of the game.
The Rangers will be back at it tomorrow night at the Garden when they take on the Dallas Stars. The last time these two teams met, the Stars scored the Blueshirts and backup netminder Steve Valiquette for nine goals. Don’t expect that to happen tomorrow night when Lundqvist will more than likely be between the pipes.
Did I speak too soon?
