It’s quite depressing outside right now - lots of clouds, rain and just a dreary feeling in general. Without hockey being played, this makes things that much worse.

Without hockey being played, I imagine it’s quite depressing everywhere. Here in Atlanta, it’s sunny and cool for this time of year (only 84F), yet I still feel dreadfully empty inside without a hockey game to look forward to.
