Rangers Reading to Start the first week of September

Can you feel it folks? Rink doors across the U.S. are opening as NHL clubs take part in informal skates and prepare for training camps. All I can say is “It’s about time.”

With all the bad/awkward stuff that has taken place this summer such as the Marian Hossa contract, Martin Havlat on Twitter, all the changes in the Blackhawks front office and now, the ousting of Paul Kelly as the NHLPA boss, it will be nice to hear how players look on the ice, how the rosters are looking and more importantly, hearing about how they have prepared for the upcoming season.
