Readers: Thoughts on Coaching and GM Changes

These are two questions that I am posing to all readers:

- Who do you think the next GM and coach of the Colorado Avalanche should be? Why?

- Who do you think the next GM and coach of the Minnesota Wild should be? Why?

Alright Pat.  Here’s what I think, being a Wild fan.

GM:
1) Neil Smith
2) Pierre McGuire
3) Jay Feaster

Coach:
1) Pat Quinn
2) Peter Laviolette
3) Guy Carbonneau

I think that the team could use a fresh perspective and, honestly, I really like Pierre McGuire for the job of GM.  He’s been analyzing the NHL for years now and knows the players and what they can do.  If Leipold truly is looking for “fresh eyes” on the situation, McGuire would be the way to go.

As far as the coach, I absolutely love Pat Quinn and he has family in the area, so he may be the natural choice.
