Something to Look Forward to?

That is the question after tonight’s 4-3 preseason win for the New York Rangers over the New Jersey Devils.
Just look at this Brad Richards had a goal and an assist. Marain Gaborik had a goal and an assist and Wojtek Wolski had an assist.
If you’re good at math, that’s five points for the team’s potential No. 1 line. Yes, it is preseason but it makes one curious to see if it will be that way in the regular season.
This is what the Rangers will need to happen night in and night out in the regular season. The team needs a line that can contribute on a nightly basis, make the big play when they need it and produce.
Other than that, tonight’s tilt was just a game where both teams were trying to their game in order, which is to be expected in pre-season hockey. With that said however, it was a very exciting third period and one that should have both team’s fans excited for the upcoming season.
