Thoughts on Gaborik

From good friend of the blog Nicholas Montemagno at Rangers Tribune:
Gaborik, along with players like Vinny Prospal, Olli Jokinen, and Ryan Callahan, is going to be relied on heavily going down the stretch here. The Blueshirts will play the remaining twenty games in just 41 days, which is an extremely compact schedule compared to what these players are used to during the months of March and April. It is a scary though to think that there is only a month and a half left until the regular season concludes and the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs begin.
That being said, this compact schedule is gong to take a lot out of these players as we near the end. Coach John Tortorella’s claim to fame is the way in which he conditions his teams in training camp, so hopefully it will not become much of a problem for this squad, but for Gaborik personally, it may present him with some difficulties.

Here at Kukla’s Korner, I like to promote the work of other hockey bloggers out there. It’s only right considering that they link to us here at Kukla’s Korner.
Today, I would like to introduce you to Nicholas Montemagno of The Rangers Tribune, a blog dedicated to all things New York Rangers.
Nicholas was kind enough to take some time to do an e-mail interview with us to tell us about how he got hooked on hockey, the New York Rangers, how he got into blogging and his thoughts on the current team.
