ESPN has provided a video collection of the greatest plays of last season, with some pretty nice image quality. Three videos are available below: the goals, the saves and the hits.

I know the one you’re talking about. I’m not an Isles fan nor am I a Leafs fan but I saw that Dipietro save over and over on youtube and it was easily the best save of the year!

I was disappointed not to see Cleary’s hit on Phaneuf. It would have been great to show it right after that hit on the Senator’s forward.

I don’t think I saw the goal that Ovechkin scored for his back or spin-o-rama goal that they guy from the Wild did in the shoot-out…

Did I miss the Hemsky/Stefan masterpiece? How in the hell could they leave that out?

They forgot Jan Bulis’ hipcheck on Jack Johnson. That was awesome.

Ducks were one of the highest hitting teams last year, yet the only clip featuring that team was a dirty hit by Chris Neil on Andy McDonald… What a way to promote the game, ESPN!

That Bulis ‘hit’ was pretty meh. The end result looked pretty spectacular, but all he really did was get in Johnson’s way and bend over--and perhaps a smidge too far at that.

Grand Total of about 5 western highlights. Way to go ESPN…

Wow, way to leave out just about every western conference team. Yeah, I may be biased, but Kristian Huselius scored some ridiculous goals last season after some amazing puck movement and yet not one highlight of “juice” on there while some of the goals on there were just fluke, not really a result of skill.
Regardless, thanks for the vids.

Cool vids despite the omissions. Crosby can cry all he wants if he scores goals like that.
farside41:
That Ovechkin goal was from 2 seasons ago, his rookie season.

(saves) I guess ESPN only watches Rangers and Sabres games now (explains why we get no highlights anymore). Absent-save of the year by DiPietro, Islanders @ Leafs.
Regardless of how crappy ESPN is, thanks for posting the vids.
