But we have Dustin Byfuglien and Brooks Orpik. I’m guessing that there plan is to have Byfuglien sit on our opponents while Orpik stares a hole into them with his gigantic un-proportionate bug eyes.

Whatever this nonsense means, is beyond me, but Orpik and Scuderi did a great job of shutting down some of the best offensive players in the world on their way to winning the Stanley Cup. This group will have to win with team defense and low scoring, close contests.

Uhh...that article also lists the new Devils coach as John Tortorella. Is this old news, or did everyone just miss it?

Somewhat shocked that Umberger didn’t make the list...he’s pretty clutch, should be good in tourney time.

no Chelios? either way it’s a pretty decent team.

Wow, won’t be the flashiest team in Vancouver will they?
It looks like the coaches are looking for more of a gritty, “pound the tar out of the other team” type approach.

Just once I’d like Team USA to have a GOOD blueline corps. Just once.
Apparently this still isn’t that time.

The forwards in particular could be absurdly young.
Not neccesarily bad, just interesting.

Holy hell...lighten up, dude.
This is an excellent lineup. Definitely competitive. Now, it’s a matter of Torts and Burke seeing eye-to-eye and being unified in winning the gold.

Question: Is this orientation camp open to the public? Can tickets be purchased? Thanks!
