from SportsStuff at the Orlando Sentinel,
Upper Deck’s top NHL brand of the year—The Cup Hockey—has hit hobby shops and it packs plenty for its $350 per pack price.
Each four-card tin includes a base card serial-numbered to 249 copies, two autographed patch cards and at least one chase card. Some packs will contain a total of five or six cards as a bonus, but every one includes an autographed rookie patch card of top guys such as Carey Price, Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and others to go along with some of the legends provided by Upper Deck…

added 8:50am, I have found a few of these cards on ebay if interested. If KK readers buy about 10,000 of these cards, we here at KK could retire!

Question:
Why on earth would any of us want you folks to retire? That would deprive us of hockey news!

How about semi-retire?
FYI, only someone bought a pack of cards, only 9999 to go!

Card prices are absolutely insane. I stopped collecting baseball cards around 95 cause it got to be $2 for 11 cards. The value for even the really good cards according to Beckett is about $3, assuming you can find a buyer.
I know cards are as much or more about collecting. But at prices that they charge now, it’s just as much an investment.
