A Hunting He Will Go

Red Wings coach Mike Babcock is featured on Outdoor Channel’s Nosler’s Magnum TV during a hunting trip in Africa. Tune in to see Mike and the hosts stalk through the jungle in search of Buffalo in Tanzania. Attached is a promo video of Coach Mike Babcock on the show hunting in Tanzania for you to enjoy and post on your site / blog if you’d like.

The show will be airing on Outdoor Channel Wednesday, March 10 at 7:30 a.m. and Thursday, March 11 at 9:00 p.m.

In Detroit, Outdoor Channel is on Comcast Channel 730; On DirecTV- Channel 606; DISH – Channel 153.

Buffalo are among the most deadly animals in Africa in terms of attacks on humans - by far among the most aggressive and least predictable.  Hippos also cause many deaths (more than crocodiles, actually).

Not to mention the lions that learn to stalk humans as their preferred prey, and slip into huts at night to kill and drag off the man or woman sleeping inside.  It’s a dangerous continent as far as predators are concerned.

Babcock is never going to find Buffalo in Tanzania. All he had to do is cross the Peace Bridge and he’d find it easily. Now if he was looking for buffalo…...

Personally, I think show hunting is disgusting even though the prey isn’t endangered.
