Any breaking new tonight, this post is all yours to announce it.
You see, we need a little down time right now. The updates have been fast and furious since July 1st and it is time to slow down just a bit.

From TSN: The Vancouver Canucks have announced that the team has acquired forward Steve Bernier from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a second round draft pick in 2010 and a third round pick in 2009.

according to empty netters, the penguins are signing the top scorer from the finnish SM-Liiga, Janne Pesonen.
