Bruins studio anchor Kathryn Tappen is expected to depart for the NHL Network in the next couple of weeks; according to an industry source, former Bruins play-by-play voice Dale Arnold is a candidate to replace her.

If she sees more camera then microphone time that would be for the best of everyone. Women female commentators or play-by-plays are usually just not right. Sorry.

From watching a number of Bruins games on Center Ice, I can say she definitely knows her stuff (and is easy on the eyes). Anyone who can hold their own in the studio with Mike Milbury is a worthy addition to the NHL Network.

I too prefer Women female commentators to women male commentators. Less confusion all around.

Excuse me, your misogyny is showing.
She’s actually much better than a lot of the Men male commentators I’ve seen.
