A Prediction Game

From Paul Kukla at NHL.com,
I predict five players will reach the 50-goal plateau [this] season. (How many players do you think will reach 50 goals? Bonus points if you name them.)
Alex Tanguay will find his offensive game again in Montreal and reach 43 goals to lead the Canadiens. (Name a player on a new team that will lead their team in goals scored.)
Jean-Sebastien Giguere will lead the league in shutouts. (Your prediction?)
The Detroit Red Wings will win the Presidents’ Trophy. (Anyone care to go with another team?)

...McCain is so out of touch with reality that he can’t even use a frickin computer. Not to mention he can’t raise his hands above his head to cheer.
That’s one of the most insensitive posts I think I’ve ever seen here at KK. Maybe you don’t know why he can’t raise his hands above his shoulders. Or maybe you just don’t care. After all, he can’t even use a computer. What an idiot you are, Kevin!

I think San Jose just might make a run for the President’s trophy - and then the question is do they flop in the playoffs again?
And of course Barack Obama would make a better hockey fan - he’s from Chicago! Who wouldn’t want to watch the Blackhawks return to prominence.

Insensitive? No. OK, well maybe a bit. But what is really insensitive? Telling the parents, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, children and friends of the 4000 dead American service men and women that we are winning this war, and that it is for a good cause.
Now doesn’t that just make him an idiot?

Your original comment had nothing to do with the current Iraq War, Kevin. It was a cheap shot taken at a guy who carries the scars of six years of torture. A guy who could have left after one year, but stayed because it was the right thing to do.
Forget who’s right or wrong about what’s going on in the world today. That’s not the point here. Your complete lack of sensitivity toward someone who gave more than he had to is the issue.

Second everything Older than Chelios wrote. No one has to vote for McCain because of what he did in Vietnam, but it’s absolutely to be admired, not mocked.

Agree with most of it, especially the 40 players reaching 30 goals, since they are allowing thermoblades AND making pads smaller. As for 2 players having +50, no way. Won’t happen.
Who’s gonna lead playoff points? Sid and Hank, again. since the finals will be Pens and wings, again.
Who would i pay to see? Well i AM paying to see the Lightning come to Pittsburgh this season. Who doesn’t want to see a 8-10 game every once in a while. Not to mention Steven Stamkos, and the opportunity to boo Ryan Malone for wanting to leave the team that made him, and his dad.
Who would I want in the net for a shootout? Danny Sabourin. I watched him in the 8 shooter shootout between the Pens and the Habs last season from right behind the net , and it was an amazing show of skill.
Obviously Obama would make a better hockey fan, I mean after all, McCain is so out of touch with reality that he can’t even use a frickin computer. Not to mention he can’t raise his hands above his head to cheer.
