They way Osgood has played, we’re not sure how Red Wings executive and Team Canada Olympic boss Steve Yzerman doesn’t hand him an invite to the team’s summer camp in August. If four or five goalies get invites, how does Osgood not get one?
-Pierre LeBrun of ESPN. More on Osgood vs. Fleury from Pierre…

Hold on there Mr. LeBrun, I’m sure TPSH will try to answer that question for you any moment now…

“Mr. LeBrun states that Osgood should clearly recieve a invite to the Olympic team. The reason for this is because he has won both games that he has started against the Penguins. The reason he won, is because they scored more goals against Fleury, then Osgood. TYpically, when one team scores more goals then the other, they win. Thus, osgood shoudl be included- TPSH”

Your argument form was dead-on, but you forgot to some how make a positive thing a reason Osgood is bad.

If Osgood actually made their olympic team, the mass insanity from the Canadian press and broadcasting analysts would be pure gold.

“It should also be mentioned that Osgood has at least 2 cup rings, and because of that, he can pull the “I can’t hear you, my 2 rings are plugging my ears” chirp that Roy pulled off so many years ago. And we all know that Roy is a hall of fame goaltender, and is olympic quality. Therefore, Osgood has 2 rings, Roy has 2 rings, therefore if Roy = Olympic goaltender, then Osgood = olympic goaltender. Or was this a Strawman fallacy, or argument, im not too sure. TPSH”

Therefore, Osgood has 2 rings, Roy has 2 rings,
Roy has 4 rings, and I am an Osgood fan and cheerleader since day 1. I do think that Chris Osgood will go into, and deserves the HHOF.
Lets Go Red Wings!!!!!

48 hours ago LeBrun was saying Pittsburgh would win in six. Obviously he didn’t think Osgood was elite material.
Now, Osgood deserves an invite to camp?
