“I think just with the tradition of this organization and the way that they’ve played over the years and the style of play that they want to play, I think I do fit into this culture and the system very well.
“It’s tailor-made for my style of play and I’m pretty excited.”
-Chris Pronger talking about playing for the Flyers. More from Helene Elliott at the Fabulous Forum.

Ok people, what does the “YES” mean/stand for? Just his troglodytic ways, referring to his speech?

That’s about it. Pronger was typing on a blog post (about trade rumours, maybe? can’t remember) and he typed something like “does this bother me YES of course but at the same time that’s the way things are.” In all caps right in the middle of the sentence like that.

Hmmm…I don’t really see a problem with using capital letters to emphasize something in a blog post. BUT what do I know. Hehehehe. Really…it’s just like someone talking who says something like “I was driving down the road and OF COURSE I got into an accident with someone trying to text message their mother about their drinking problem.

I think it was in the middle of a run-on sentence, too. The way it was written, if it was said alound just like that it would have sounded kind of strange.
