“You can’t predict how big of a window you’re going to have before you have to blow it apart and the salary cap gets in the way. You don’t want to be on a team where you look back in 15 years and say, ‘Damn, why’d we screw that up?’ That’s my big fear. I’ve been on teams and you look back and realize, wow, that was a good team. Why didn’t we do better? This is a team with superstar-caliber players. You have to strike when they’re all there.”
