From an interview with Adrian Dater at the Denver Post, actor Mike Myers:
“Any time I meet an NHL player, I get all tongue-tied. I’m like, eight years old again. I have to say, it’s only about five years ago that I gave up my dream of playing in the NHL. It’s something that a Canadian man holds onto for a very long time, well past the appropriate age.”
(Or in some cases, Canadian women. We all have our own inappropriate NHL dreams, methinks.)
