Adrian Dater at All Things Avs in the Denver Post:
I should have written last night that the Avs might go after Darcy Tucker. I was going to do that, but somehow screwed up and forgot to do it. Oh well. He’s an Av, by the way, signing a two-year deal.

No, I understand. God forbid you guys should look at the hockey blogs.
From Japer’s Rink:
“When a player specifically asks a team for an offer of a certain duration and dollar amount, the team makes that offer and the player walks away, that’s not “hit[ting] a couple snags.” It’s something, but it’s not that.”

Dater sees all, knows all, feels all, knew that the Avs would lose their Finger, but would Tucker in their Raycroft…

Dater just told the Fan 590’s Prime Time Sports that Raycroft will be a Theodore-like reclamation project under Jeff Hackett, the Avs’ current goalie coach.
Diamond in the rough!
