An End Coming To The Versus/DIRECTV Dispute?

via TVPredictions.com,

Sports Illustrated writer Josh Gross wrote yesterday on his Twitter page that he’s been told that a resolution will occur in March.

“For DirecTV subscribers concerned they’ll miss UFC on Versus (Jones-Vera, Gonzaga-dos Santos) I’m told a resolution is expected by March,” Gross said.

So it takes UFC to get a deal done…  perhaps goes to show how low the NHL is on the sports totem pole in the US.

As long as it’s done by the playoffs, I can live with it. Come playoff time, I just might spend the $400+ cancellation fee to switch away from DIRECTV.

Agreed… I’m living with the bootleg streams online during the regular season, but this crap better be resolved by playoff time….

And, let’s not kid ourselves, they know that too…..

Not many people may be leaving Direct TV, but I don’t think they are getting consideration from hockey fans from people looking from new subscribers.

A lot of hockey fans left when the season first started….

I decided to stay, and got a HD DVR out of it…
