from the Vancouver Sun:
Vancouver Canuck fans have been known to be fickle. But with the team leading their division, even the feeblist are cautiously talking about playoffs and less cautiously touting coach Alain Vigneault as a contender for coach of the year.
One big fan, law firm Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, is doing even more - putting money where there cheers are . The firm, Vancouver’s largest, today announced it has entered into a long-term sponsorship agreement with Orca Bay Sports & Entertainment, owner of the Canucks, which the firm called the first agreement of its magnitude between a law firm and a western Canadian National Hockey League team.
In return, Fasken Martineau gets branding presence at the games, and takes on the title “official legal counsel to the Vancouver Canucks and General Motors Place.”
