The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League suspended another of Patrick Roy’s sons Monday, handing Quebec Remparts forward Frédérick Roy fifteen games for a high-sticking incident during Friday night’s game against the Juniors in Montreal.
Frederick, 17, who is coached by his father Patrick, hit Montreal defenceman Vincent Bourgeois in the face following a melee. Frederick received a five-minute major and a match penalty in the 8-2 Remparts loss and was also to be assessed an automatic one-game suspension.

Wow, that should be enough for a felony charge. Using a stick as a weapon must be the first lesson Patrick teaches.

Yep, a real classy bunch. What I can’t figure out is why any woman would want to BE with a jerk like Patrick, much less have children with him. Wonder what the daughter is like…I almost choked when I read the comments in THN by “Saint” Patrick’s father…according to him Patrick is “misunderstood.” Well Mr. Roy, I understand that your grandsons are criminals and, since your son raised them, I have to guess he sanctions this type of behaviour. Hopefully Frederick isn’t any better than Jon so he’ll never make it to the NHL….
