Sources tell TSN Andrew Raycroft has agreed to a 1 year contract with the Colorado Avalanche. Details to follow.
3:27pm ET: TSN reporting the deal is for $800,000 for the one year.

Wow ... Raycroft gets no post-lockout love from anyone. I feel bad for the guy, but hopefully he finds a home in the Rockies.

It is hard to imagine a Calder winner can fall so far from grace. This season should be interesting in Colorado.

Raycroft comes in to provide security (what little of it he can) behind Budaj. At least if you believe what Giguere said about letting Budaj walk in as the #1 for training camp.
But over all, I let the picture on my site speak for itself.
