from Greg Wyshynski of PuckDaddy,
Netminders have obviously allowed goals from center ice or beyond before, as Vokoun did on Radim Vrbata’s( meek shot; but rarely are those goals allowed with 59.7 seconds left in the game and with that goalie’s team clinging to a one-goal lead.

When did Osgood get traded to Florida - and why is he wearing Vokun’s sweater?

Consider this Vokoun’s revenge for d-men swinging at his head…

Vokoun knows it is in his best interest to get a good lottery pick. Somewhere in his subconscious he knew he better let the Coyotes win so he gets Tyler Seguin or Taylor Hall on his team next season. I was at the game and it was a good game.

He pulled a Pavelec! Who pulled a Fleury! Who pulled a Barrasso!
Seriously…knuckle pucks are always hard for a goaltender to stop…worse when they’re bouncing. I guess more goalies should get their body in front of the puck and chance the juicy rebound.
