I tried watching the Thrashers last year, and I nearly “blue” my head off.

These things almost write themselves

Let’s be fair here, guys. At least this year, the Thrashers actually have an advertisement campaign.

The question I have is, will those of us in Atlanta actually see billboards in the city and advertising on more radio or television stations, or will advertising be limited to SportSouth and 680TheFan again? You won’t get new fans to come to games in an emerging market if you don’t sell the game to the fans, after all.

That’s a great campaign. Very modern and “Cloverfield-ish.” Judging by all the new promos for the NHL season, it looks like the NHL Marketing Department got a dose of new blood over the summer.
