Belfour Thinking About A Return To The NHL

For any team seeking a goaltending upgrade, Ed Belfour is tanned, rested and ready.

The future Hall of Famer, who turned 44 last April, is working out near his suburban Dallas home as he seeks a return to the NHL. Agent Ron Salcer confirmed that his long-time client has asked him to contact clubs to determine any interest level.

This will go over about as well as Claude Lemieux’s return, except Lemieux wasn’t expected to play 60 minutes a game in a key role.

Belfour was always a drunk and an idiot…but I feared my teams having to face him in the playoffs.  Still…come on Ed…let it go…buy a toyota dealership and enjoy your retirement.
