from the OC Register,
In addition to his relationship with Burke, the club’s talent base and the raucous Honda Center atmosphere during the playoffs contributed to Bertuzzi wanting to join the Ducks.
“Obviously, it’s pretty special when you can get the defending Stanley Cup champions to find room to fit you in,” Bertuzzi said. “I’m thrilled at the opportunity. Being there in the playoffs and seeing first-hand what an unbelievable rink it is, I think it’s going to be an unbelievable place to play.
“I’m just going to come in to fit into their program, because it’s been successful. I just want to get my game back to where it can and should be.”
