I guess the NHL forgot what really was the hit of the year. Just don’t ask Marty Havlat.
I don’t think he can remember it either.

Kate, as with there other Best Of’s… they may only include regular season play, but I did not watch the full vid to see if any hits where from the playoffs.

thie biggest hit of the season was the Red Wings not being able to handle the Penguins forecheck. 10 times more brutal than any hit on Havlat by the opportunistic Kronwall, who never seems to attack guys unless theyre left wide open and vulnerable. how did you lose the cup again? oh yeah, continuous hitting and chasing to create turnovers by Brad Stuart. so sorry for game 7.

No. 5 probably should have been a clipping call.

As for #1, if that’s why Neil is worth $2 million despite only putting up 13 points last year, I think I want my money back.
