Bettman & Daly Will Answer Questions Regarding Phoenix Bids

National Hockey League officials agreed to answer questions about why potential buyers of the bankrupt Phoenix Coyotes dropped out in favor of Chicago Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf, lawyers in the bankruptcy said.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and Deputy Commissioner William L. Daly will be deposed later this month in New York by attorneys who question their roles in the proposed Reinsdorf bid, lawyers for the league and the Coyotes said today in court.
