Continuing its leadership in sports television, TSN once again is on the cutting edge of hockey broadcasting becoming the first network ever to provide both play-by-play and analysis from ice level for an NHL game.
The landmark broadcast takes place Friday at 7:30pm et/4:30m pt featuring the New York Rangers facing the Buffalo Sabres from HSBC Arena in Buffalo, with Chris Cuthbert and Glenn Healy calling the action from between the benches.

I’m a play by play announcer.  I would rather call the game from above.  It gives you a broader view of the game.  I can see the merits of having a colour guy down low, but not the play by play guy.
