James Wisniewski to Undergo Knee Surgery
The following statement was issued today by Chicago Blackhawks Head Team Physician Dr. Michael Terry of University of Chicago Medical Center:
“James reinjured his right knee while training for the upcoming season. He has torn his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and will undergo surgery this week. We anticipate full recovery and his return during the 2008-09 season.”

Really? Naslund gets 23 comments, and there’s not one for Wisniewski? Maybe you just don’t know how good this kid really is? Though you A2Y guys should have been paying attention to him, he’s the best prospect this area has had in a long time.
So a kid with fantastic hockey sense, good size and speed, who hits like a Dodge Ram with disconnected brakes, barely gets a notice… Sure.
