Rich Nash’s agent states they will be listening to the Jackets offer and hopefully a deal can be worked out.

I know I hope in my heart of hearts that he tests the market and comes to Toronto. However, it is so important to Columbus that he stays that it would be tragic for him to leave that city.
Plus, why wouldn’t he want to stay in Ohio?
Derick Brassard
Nikita Filatov
Steve Mason
Jakub Voracek
Sounds like the 2014 All Star Team.

CBS has to get this deal done or it’s all over for them.
As a result, I don’t see him going anywhere. They made the playoffs this past season, they could be back there this next season if they stay healthy, things there are looking a bit up finally. Definitely need some help on D still though….

Definitely want to see Nash in a Wings sweater. I’m sick of the *#$%@& scoring hattricks on us.

If he doesn’t sign with Columbus, the push from Toronto will be incredible - it might be the first time a harem and his own personal Caribbean island were included in a contract.
But I can’t see him leaving. He seems to like it there, he has a decent team for a change and it will just get better with time and experience, the team finally made the playoffs and likely won back a lot of the fans who were initally excited but lost interest when the team was bad for so long ... Nash just belongs with the Blue Jackets.

Nash won’t be leaving… he loves it here and we love him right back. It’s a perfect fit for everyone involved.
