I don’t know about this. Conklin’s better. Good for Pang. He’s so much better than Pierre.

St. Louis is getting one of the few good color guys out there.

First Andy Murray, now Panger? It’s getting harder and harder to hate the Blues.

Aww, thanks guys. Backhanded compliments are probably the best thing a Blues fan could hope for at Kukla’s Korner. I think Nick Lidstrom’s a good guy, for the record.

Awesome, replacing half of one of the worst TV tandems in the league. Wait, what’s that? You’re keeping Federko as a between-the-benches third wheel? Ugh. C’mon JD, you should know better.

I can’t even begin to extrapolate what you’re trying to get at with that description, unless it’s an iniside barb at Pierre or Don I’m not aware of…

“A 180, you stupid, spaghetti-slurping cretin—*180*! If I did a 360, I’d go completely around and end up back where I started!"--name that movie.

Backhanded compliments are still compliments.  smile

Good choice.  I think the fans will appreciate the difference in the broadcast immediately.

Last Action Hero.  “I snap my fingers again and sometime tomorrow you emerge from several canine recta” Awesome, Drew.

Panger is a huge upgrade, one of my favorite commentators.

...and its status is in such flux that Pang said the club doesn’t have a TV deal in place for next season.

“There was no one to negotiate with,’’ he said. “So you can understand that trying to get some answers and trying to figure out where you stand’’ was impossible.

Pang and Strader were the best. I’m going to miss him here in Phoenix. Dave Strader is one of the best play by play announcers I’ve ever heard. I grew up listening to him and Mickey Redmond back in Michigan.  And Panger is Panger, he has so many friends in the league, he always gets a great interview. St. Louis fans should be happy.
