Bolts Call Up Goaltender Ramo

The Tampa Bay Lightning have recalled goaltender Karri Ramo and defenseman Jay Leach from the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League, Executive Vice President and General Manager Jay Feaster announced. Leach has been recalled on an emergency basis.

continued… You know Tampa cannot be happy with the current goaltending situation…

I did a quick double-take on that goalie’s name...I know the Bolts are desperate for goaltending help, for a second I thought I read that Kari Takko was joining the big club.

For us old-timers, he had a brief career in the 80’s with the Minnesota North Stars and some time in the ‘I’ with the Kalamazoo Wings.
