Boudreau Gets A Contract

Coach Bruce Boudreau has been given a contract to stay with the Washington Capitals, a reward for leading the team from last in the NHL to a Southeast Division title.

Capitals general manager George McPhee said Wednesday: “He’s our coach. He’s under contract ... for a long time.”

He should also get a Jack Adams Award to go along with it!

100% agree. If Boudreau does not win the Jack Adams the referees will not be the only thing that is crooked with the League.

There are a number of coaches who probably merit the award this year, but Gabby sure did make it the most obvious that his coaching is what made the difference. He only lost personnel to injury and turned last place into something special.
