Brad May Under Observation

In the 3rd period of the Flames/Wings game tonight, Brady May of the Wings took a stick in the eye area while sitting on the bench.

After Hours on HNIC reported he will stay in Calgary and will be under observation tonight.

May needed some assistance from the bench area to the locker room and appeared to be in pain.

to UPDATE this story:

it should be noted that in Ansar Khan’s game recap while he doesn’t mention May’s overnight stay in Calgary for observation, he does have this tidbit:

May, while seated on the bench, was caught in the right eye by an errant stick. The eye was red after the game but May said, “I’ll be OK.’’

i’d say that’s good news relative to the report above.
