Burke & Fletcher Talk

Hope that headline did not confuse you!

The Bill Waters Show on AM640 Toronto had Brian Burke and Cliff Fletcher on the air today.

Brian Burke did his first live radio interview since the tampering charges and did admit he is considering options other than Anaheim for “family reasons”. He also talked about the Selanne situation that we are familiar with and a few other hockey items.

Cliff Fletcher discussed a few topics…

1) Bryan McCabe will be invited to training camp
2) He was quite complimentary of McCabe’s contribution to TML and says “he’s a nice guy”.

But they are still trying actively to trade him….and as far as Sundin goes, they haven’t gotten to whether the contract offer for him will include a NTC/NM Clause.  They have only discussed salary and year.

You can listen to both interviews at AM640.

Thanks to a KK reader for the heads-up and providing some of the above material.
