from William Houston of the Globe and Mail,
Hockey Night In Canada has been given back its traditional Saturday night time slot for the second round of the National Hockey League playoffs.
The CBC complained at the start of the post-season when it was denied a Saturday prime time game on the first weekend.
The network will air the second game of the New Jersey Devils-Ottawa Senators series Saturday at 8 p.m. EDT.

Finally little Gary gets something right. HNIC is far and away the best Hockey coverage anywhere (if you can stand the Grapes - - but like him or hate him—at least he stirs interest in the NHL which is desparately needed).
Hopefully the homers calling Wings/(F)lame will not be the feature pairing—cannot be.

Kukla’s Korner is always a free service for readers, but it costs some money to maintain. If you’re ever in a position to donate a few dollars to help out, we’d be very appreciative.

*sigh* something needs to be done for us fans in the US. CenterIce is a great option, but it fails when it comes to blackouts due to local/regional/national games shown on FSN/Versus/NBC. I would love the option to see these playoff games on CBC as it is a far superior broadcast. The Sens’ first game isn’t scheduled nationally for anywhere in the US as far as I can tell, but I found a link to contact inDemand. Maybe if enough of us request the game, they will show it. Heres to hoping…
