According to various sources, the Montreal Canadiens have acquired Dustin Boyd, Dan Ellis and future considerations from the Nashville Predators in return for Sergei Kostitsyn and future considerations.
UPDATE: From TSN’s Bob McKenzie’s tweet:
Futures in MTL-NAS trade are simple. If one side, or other, sign the player(s) involved, late-round draft pick(s) change hands. No big deal.

i dont understand this trade at all. it’s 2 UFA’s for 1 RFA. o well, Nashville is now officially the Rights Trading King

So what’s the over/under on how long it’s going to take for Ellis to earn the #1 spot and then Gauthier trading him away so that Price can once again be shoehorned into the starter position?
