from Habs Inside/Out,
The Canadiens will honour two more of their greats this season as they continue preparations for the club’s centennial celebration in 2009.
In the coming months, the organization will retire the No. 19 of Larry Robinson and the No. 23 of general manager Bob Gainey.

Larry Robinson will always be to me the best defenseman the Habs ever had.

He’s the best one I ever saw, but the title of best Canadiens defenceman ever goes to Doug Harvey, who won six straight Norris trophies during the Habs glory years of the 1950s.
