Capitals Sign Knuble, 2 Years

Forward Mike Knuble is heading to his fifth NHL team.

The 36-year-old has signed an two-year contract with the Washington Capitals worth $2.8 million a season.

Someone to do the dirty work down low and play a little north south hockey. The pickup that covers up the fact that they dropped the ball on Guerin at the trade deadline last year.

Exactly right on Guerin. Needed to clear cap room before the trade could go thru and couldn’t get it done. Huge upgrade from Kozloaf.
