Capitals Trade Eric Fehr to the Jets

From NHL.com:

The trade is conditional on Fehr—who was born in Manitoba and continues to make a home there during the offseason—passing a physical with Winnipeg by 5 p.m. ET on Monday.

Many were saying trading Fehr or putting him on LTIR would have to happen since the caps are pushed against the ceiling.  It’s just sad that he’s injured so often, his potential was through the roof.

Semin is now staying. Caps will be 3.2 mil under once they put Poti on LTIR so they can afford Alzner without dealing Mr Jizz. And yes this is a steal for Winnipeg.

Cool move by the Jets.  Excited about this one.  I think the goal is to sign as much local talent as possible.  Two down… smile
