Carlyle Looking For Leadership From Top Players

from Curtis Zupke of Ducks Blog,
Ducks Coach Randy Carlyle only needed to see one misstep in practice Monday to give his team one of his not-so-subtle messages.
After watching his players do a drill incorrectly, Carlyle stopped practice and excoriated the group with a reminder that “We’re playing the New York Rangers!”
There is no room for contentment among the Ducks, who have fought inconsistency most of the season but turned a corner with five straight victories at home. Tuesday night can represent either six straight or a step back when they take on the New York Rangers, the Eastern Conference’s No.2 team.
“There’s no easy ones, and this one won’t be easy by any means,” Carlyle said.
Carlyle called out his top forwards to lead the way - which means continued strong play from the Ryan Getzlaf-Corey Perry-Chris Kunitz line.
