NEW YORK (March 12, 2007) – NHL Interactive Cyber Enterprises (ICE), the digital arm of the National Hockey League (NHL), today announced NHL Network’s signature show NHL On The Fly: Final—now airing in Canada—will be made available for the first time in the United States online at NHL.com. The hockey highlight show will be offered for free through the Stanley Cup Final.

Now in its fifth season airing nightly on NHL Network, NHL On The Fly: Final delivers a final round-up of the night’s action from around the NHL. Hosted by Dan Pollard and Todd Lewis, NHL On The Fly: Final showcases every goal from every game, complete shootouts, extended highlights, stellar saves, features, interviews, pre- and post-game reports, Top Five plays of the night, team press conferences and expert analysis from a variety of hockey insiders and former players, including Gary Green and Dave Reid. The one-hour program also features special event coverage from the Stanley Cup Final and NHL Entry Draft. NHL Network is available in Canada by contacting digital cable or satellite providers.

“Offering NHL On The Fly: Final serves as a one-stop shop for hockey fans to get a complete wrap-up on last night’s games around the league,” said Keith Ritter, President of NHL ICE. “It is yet another way we are making the game more accessible to our fans.”

Versus (when they were OLN last spring and summer) used to show this every night during the playoffs, and it was great.
You got a full nights recap of hockey that day.

This should be included in the price of the Center Ice package next season.

Yep...it was great. I’d TIVO the show, and watch it the next morning over breakfast.
