Former Blackhawks star Chris Chelios was arrested early Dec. 28 and charged with speeding and driving under the influence, Westmont police said.

That might totally screw his ability to go between the US and Canada. My biggest fear of ever drinking and driving (besides killing someone) is being denied entry into the Great White North.

Makes you think doesn’t it? I wonder how many people out there realize just how serious drinking and driving is? One arrest can impact your entire life.
Why on earth didn’t he just call a cab or someone to pick him up? Idiot.

God, that sucks. I feel for the man and try to consider what he may be going through psychologically. It’s too bad it came to this, and I hope he can use this as a positive learning/teaching experience in the long run, as some do.
