Columnist Suggests Pens ‘Rearrange’ Ovechkin Face

from Mark Madden of the Beaver County Times,
If Ovechkin won’t respect Malkin’s status as a superstar, the Penguins can’t respect Ovechkin’s status as a superstar. If that means that Eric Godard does Ovechkin a favor by rearranging his face, so be it.

Why do columnists say stupid things?

Why do columnists say stupid things?
Because if they don’t say retarded things, they have nothing else to say.

Love how he downplays the fact Malkin is a wuss. Here’s an idea: Don’t like Ovie running you? Hit him back every chance you get.

Paul, you are embarrassing me with these Mark Madden columns. Mark Madden is an idiot, a disgrace of the pittsburgh area. He represents the “yinzers” and is possibly the only yinzer who likes hockey. Unfortunately he knows nothing about hockey. So rather then bringing hockey to these outside folks, he brings his idiotic version of hockey.

Yeah, Malkin’s a wuss alright, a big wuss, a big wuss who took all of ovechkins hits, and instead of getting completely out of his game like OV did, he went on and scored a goal and 2 assists, while ovechkin did…..NOTHING.

While i love the fact that Ovie comes out and plays hard every single night, and is arguably the most talented and skillful player in the game right now, he does come out TOO hard many nights, and makes dumb, dangerous decisions. Anyone else remember that hit on Briere last year that could have ended the guys career if not for luck? I know i don’t want to get hit from behind into an open bench-gate at the end of my shift away from the play. Ovie’s career is gonna be over by the time he’s 30 at this pace too. Not many players play his rough-and-tumble style game in and game out for many years.
The Malkin/Ovechkin kafuffle is hilarious in my books, mostly because this will hurt Russia in 2010 if they dont’ get along, and helps Canada have better odds at Gold!

Kevin from Pittsburgh, what is a yinzer? Please forgive my ignorance!
This was a silly column.

This is a stupid article by Madden. Ovechkin and Malkin are pals off the ice. Obviously, no one has friends on the ice if they ain’t wearing the same sweater, then by all means do everything they can to win the match.
Much ado about nothing.

haha, Yinzers are the people who live around pittsburgh, the ones who come to football games with their shirts off and their stomachs full of alcohol and hot dogs. You’re from NC, so think of the really bad rednecks in your area, the yinzers are their equivalent. When it comes to hockey yinzers, like Mark Madden, they are the idiots who boo everyone, they boo other good players, they booed the wings when the won the cup while most of the arena stuck around and congratulated them. I’m proud to say I’ve never said Yinz in my life hahaha.

OK, I get it, thank you! Unfortunately I know the exact type you mean. Now I have a new word for them! thanks
