He actually did okay after the Wild acquired him. I mean, where else would this punching bag get powerplay time? Where does he fit in on the Yotes? Set him up in front of the net as a screen on the PP?

2 losses in a career, albeit bad ones, don’t make you a punching bag. McGratten will handle the heavies next year, Carcillo the middles, and Fedoruk can concentrate more on his game, hitting and mucking up the boards. Most people forget or just don’t know that he’s a decent forward. He’s also still a legit heavyweight, and PHX now has a fierce team. Even Jokinen will protect a linemate.
