Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby says he won’t play against the Buffalo Sabres because the ankle he injured in January is sore. Crosby said he’s sitting out just as a precaution when Buffalo plays the Penguins in Pittsburgh Wednesday night.

This kid is just amazing, the two games following hsi return he scores 2 goals per game.

Congrats to Sid for earning the cover spot. Hopefully his ankle just needs some rest, and won’t be a reoccurring problem. They’ll be without Sykora, Talbot, and Hossa tonight too, so it’ll be a depleted lineup. Malkin needs to rise up once again!
