from the Hockey News,
This has the potential to be one of the best Stanley Cup finals in years. Or, if Detroit’s experience is the deciding factor, it could be over in four games. Given the fact the Penguins have not lost at home in this year’s playoffs, we don’t see that happening. And when you have the best player in the world on your team – Crosby - that can also be a deciding factor. Pittsburgh in six.
read the breakdown…

Congrats on the NHL credentials Paul.
I’ve been trying to salvage a ticket on ticketmaster but difficult now. not sure when they were available online.

Hey guys, you think the Rented Mule will be back?

Yeah. Luckily the best player in the world is Lidstrom.

How can a 38 year old d-man be the best player in the world? Come on…
I love this site. Been here since the lock out but going to be tough sledding over the next few weeks.

marty, the KK Hockey section will remain neutral throughout the SCF. I do understand more Wings fans may comment here, but Pens fans are invited to post too.

You mean it isn’t? Shhh, don’t tell Dallas - they think they have a franchise player for the next ten years.

Hockey News picked both the Stars and (chuckle) The Dive over the Wings in seven. I’d say their credibility in picking the Pens over the Wings in six is “somewhat” in question. And with all due props to Sid the Kid, he is not the best hockey player in the world. I think St. Nick will more than prove that to him in the Finals.

Just watch him and you’ll see. A better question might be, how can a 20-year old centerman be the best player in the world? Heck, it appears to be debatable whether he’s even the best center on his own team!

Oh, I didn’t realize you’re a Detroiter, Marty...welcome!
I love this site.
Well, at least you got one thing right.

Oh dear, it appears the unidentified author made a couple of typos. He/she/it accidentally typed “Crosby” when he obviously meant “Lidstrom” and “Pittsburgh” when he/she/it meant “Detroit.” Tsk. Tsk. Such shoddy journalism.
