via the CP at TSN,
Sidney Crosby’s missing stick and glove have been found.
Hockey Canada says Crosby’s missing Olympic equipment were misplaced rather than stolen.
Crosby’s stick was accidentally placed in a shipment bound for the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame in St. Petersburg, Russia, that ended up getting intercepted in Toronto.
And one of his gloves was put in a bag belonging to Patrice Bergeron, who sat beside him in the locker-room.

Wow, school just got out I guess. It only took four posts before someone showed their age with the Betteman comments.

Can’t we all just be thankful that Sid’s gear has been found and that Cooke won’t be suspended?

It took Bergeron this long to figure out that someone else’s glove was in his bag?

See what concussions do.

I found that to be a bit strange too… Either Bergeron does not dress himself of as L1st mentioned - concussions are bad!

That’s what i was thinking too…i wonder if it was a bag with the Canadian gear? i can see how if it was looked at quickly, Crosby’s Reebok gloves with #87 on them, could be mistaken for Bergeron’s same gloves (another Reebok guy) with #37 on them.

Apparently, there was some concern that Sid’s jock strap was placed in Ovechkin’s bag by mistake. But once they realized AO can’t even hold Sid’s jock, the idea was dismissed as pure lunacy.
