from Ansar Khan of Mlive,
Forward Tomas Holmstrom (bruised left knee) was on the ice briefly at the start of practice but couldn’t push off, so he left. He said he will skate Tuesday morning in St. Louis before a decision is made on whether he can play against the Blues.
Defenseman Niklas Kronwall (left knee) practiced but said he won’t play Tuesday. He is waiting for a new knee brace to arrive, one that will better support his MCL. He said aiming to return Thursday against San Jose.
Forward Drew Miller (bruised ankle) will play Tuesday. Forward Patrick Eaves (sprained ankle) did not practice and won’t play. He is listed as day-to-day.

The May experiment should have been over a while ago.

perhaps Abdelkader’s AHL eligibility is driving this. The bench is overfull with everyone healthy (expected to happen soon) and if he uses up his NHL games, he can’t get back to the AHL and we have cap problems.

Bingo. *IF* we make the playoffs, when there is no salary cap and AHL players can be called up, I would expect Abba Zabba to be playing, and May to be a healthy scratch.

I would rather see Abby in the lineup than May. How in the world would May replace Eaves on the 3rd line?? Make it Miller and bring Abby back for the 4th line. The May experiment should have been over a while ago.
